AP United States Government
This course is designed to instill habits and skills that are needed to succeed in any college. Students will be expected to take responsibility for their own learning and be pro-active. We will study the government institutions, political processes, and examine policy choices of the United States. We will consider these in light of historical change, constitutional procedures, and comparative perspectives. I would like to add my deep and sincere thanks to both Ms. Karen Waples at Cherry Creek High School, Mr. Brad Brunner at Haslett High School, and Ms. Rebecca Small in Fairfax County Schools for their insight, suggestions, and sharing of resources.
